Across the beginning of August, the children have enjoyed learning how to stay cool in the warm weather we have been having. This began by the children making their own fruit lollies. The children were part of the fruit being mushed. Then, this was poured into the ice lolly moulds. We put them in the freezer and they all enjoyed a yummy afternoon snack! We have spent lots of time in the garden. We have worked on our balancing skills. Our new walkers have been exploring new ways of moving around with the bikes. The children have loved joining in with the big drum. They have been singing along with the songs we have been playing on the drums. We have been taking turns in deciding which songs we would like to sing. The children are becoming very good at decision making. Other ways of keeping ourselves cool have included lots of water play. We have spent lots of time painting with our cars which has meant they needed washing in our water tray - the children are fantastic helpers.
