Foxes and Badgers blog:
In Foxes and Badgers this week, the children have been exploring the woods in order to make their natural bracelets. The children were able to observe, find and collect their different resources in order to be successful. Whilst we were in the woods, we made sure to hunt for the bears that were missing! When we have been inside, we have been listening to music with our eyes shut and drawing to the beat. It has been wonderful to see all the unique and beautiful creations that each child made from this. As per our previous weeks, we had a look at the stick insects and gave them some fresh brambles. In Team Times, the children have been thinking about recycling. We made pictures from bottle lids and sticks. This has meant that we can use recycled resources to make something beautiful - instead of them going to waste! We have also been working on our Maths skills. We have been practising our counting and using comparative language with worms - long and short.
