This week in Rabbits, the babies have been learning through their senses. They have been able to explore the world around them by exploring the different areas within our base. To develop their fine motor skills, the children have been exploring our fine motor boards. These include light switches, latches, door handles and taps. This promotes the idea of cause and effect. We have been reading together. It has been a fantastic way of allowing the children to build deeper relationships with their friends and their key adults. With their key adults, the children have been able to achieve physical development skills that they haven’t before! The children are continuing to deepen their skills to allow them to enjoy the slide independently. The children have also been exploring the bikes and trikes. They have been strengthening their legs as well as focusing on their spatial awareness.
