Foxes and Badgers

In Foxes and Badgers this week, the children have been exploring the ocean. Their love and interest around this topic has been sparked from our new story - ‘Commotion in the Ocean’. Our love for this story has sparked engagement in craft activities such as making collages with shells and children being free to show their own representation of the ocean. Whilst we have been in the woods, the children have been further developing their fine motor skills. They have been learning to use a peeler to prepare their carrots for snack. The children have continued to show their imagination through play this week by sharing their favourite stories with their key adults and developing fantastic prediction skills of what might happen next!
