Physical Development

In Kits, the children have been developing their gross and fine motor skills. They have been  rolling a ball down the slide in the Soft Play area and  rushing to pick it up again when it reaches the bottom. We have been pressing and squeezing the playdough to develop strength in our hands. We have been using our hands as our tool to explore. We have enjoyed adding petals to the dough. We have been covering them and finding them again.

Communication and Language

We have been exploring our theme - ‘At the farm’. We have enjoyed thinking about all the animals that live on the farm. We have been practicing our animal sounds as well as singing nursery rhymes such as ‘Old McDonald had a Farm’.
