Hedgehogs:
In Hedgehogs this week, we have used our senses to explore and find out more about the world around us. We have enjoyed watching the chickens scratching for bugs and worms and have heard them crowing for the first time. We have experienced the coldness of the frozen spheres. We noticed that the longer we held these in our hands, the quicker the ice melted. We explored the pink, bubbly water and discovered that it was harder to see through with the colour. This was different from our normal water. We have also used our hands in moon sand. We found that the mixture could run through our fingers and be squeezed into lumps.
