Hedgehogs:

In Hedgehogs for the Summer Term, our Authors for the term.. The children have begun to notice all the lovely flip flap books and Maisy's story books on the shelf. We have absolutely loved looking at them and sharing them together within story time. We have also seen lots of children exploring these with their peers in our reading area. As the children have loved these so much, we also added Usborne touchy feely books to keep their imaginations growing! The children have really focused on exploring the different textures in the book.  We enjoyed a yoga session with Ellie. We started learning the song "Fly like a butterfly!". For each of the lines in the song, we have learnt an action for while we sing. The children have adapted really well in moving our theme time / focused activity before lunch. They are focusing hard and participating brilliantly on the activities led by their key person.
