Kits and Rabbits:

Kits have been exploring all things - Winter! They have been part of lots of sensory interactions with their adults and peers. We have thought about different animals we may find that live in the cold - Polar Bears! The children have explored touch and feel books in line with our curriculum books - ‘That’s not my…’ where they have enjoyed feeling the different textures. Our adults have enjoyed having conversations with the children about the textures.

Additionally, the children have been getting creative in the build up to Christmas. Ruby has been in charge of making Christmas decorations and cards with the children which we hope you’ll love when you receive them.

In Rabbits, the children have also been exploring winter but with ICE! They have loved watching the ice move and melt. We are building their scientific skills by discussing with them what they observe as the ice begins to melt. They are always amazed that we can turn the water back to ice again.
