Rabbits:

In Rabbits this week, it has been incredibly hot! To keep ourselves cool and out of the sunshine as much as possible, we have had lots of fun with our water play. The children have loved being down on the floor splashing with their friends. We have been using our gross motor skills to stretch and push up towards the bubbles that have been blown. The children have been listening to our key words - ‘splash’, ‘pop’ and ‘reach’. We have been exploring dinosaurs this week! We came into the nursery to find that a dinosaur had got himself stuck in some ice - how were we going to help him? The children noticed that there had been some tools left for them to explore the ice further. After some adult modelling, the children were able to use the tools to chip away at the ice until our dinosaur was finally free - hooray!
