Kits blog:
The children in Kits group have been using their gross motor skills. The children have been using big movements like crawling in and out the tunnel in the room. They have loved to see their key adults at the other end of the tunnel. We have been exploring our outdoor area walking around the sensory garden and riding on the little trikes. The children have really enjoyed spending time out in the rain - stamping and stomping in the puddles.
Personal, Social and Emotional Skills
The children were having fun playing with bubbles. They have been chasing them around the room and popping them. There were lots of smiles on their faces and giggling with their peers. The children have enjoyed singing their favourite song - ‘Tiny Tim the Turtle’. They really enjoy having bubbles put in their hair! We have been working with the children to share with their new friends at Nursery. We have been showing the children how we can share together carefully and kindly.
Communication and Language Skills
The children were focused in listening to our “Fox’s socks” story. They were engrossed in exploring and discovering dried leaves, feather and bead pouches in the tuff tray. The children enjoyed playing with soft toy animals like the fox, spider and the mouse. We also sang “Incy wincy spider” beautifully together. The children were really good at participating with actions with their fingers and clapping their hands at the end.
